I am the only candidate running for the Executive Council in District 4 that has a proven record of supporting labor.
I have stood on the picket line at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home, have spoken against Right to Work in front of the labor Committee in Concord, have spoken out publicly against the definition of employee as amended by Sen Gatsas and Clegg, Spoke aginst the Verizon/Fairpoint sale in front of the Public utilities Commission(PUC).
My press release against right to work went national and international with over 48,000 hits on it.
I always have and always will support Labor whether in elected office or not. I am now asking for your help so I can take my support for labor to the next level; The Executive Council, and put an anti-labor republican out to pasture.

Right of workers to form unions and negotiate with employers regarding wages, hours, and working conditions
I have publicly fought side by side with Labor on these issues, and plan to keep fighting for them whether in elected office or not.
During this years Democratic Convention I was a co-sponsor and one of the people that met with the Platform committee to have them insert the following statement in to the Democratic Platform: “Workers should be able to exercise the right to form unions by signing cards authorizing union representation. Mediation and arbitration should be required for first-contract disputes, and stronger penalties for the violation of workers' rights must be established”.
