The Presidential candidates are talking about bringing change to Washington,
It’s time to bring change to District 4 !!!
|
I am running because I believe that District 4 deserves a positive, efficient and proactive Executive Councilor representing them. This campaign is about bringing independent leadership, efficiency, and accountability to Concord on behalf of the people in District 4 and the people of the state of New Hampshire.
|
My priorities include:
- Developing transportation and highway plans that are viable for NH and that protect our Environment, including public transportation such as Light rail and Bus service
- Ensuring that the needs of our children and their education are not based on political outcomes
- Ensuring that the Executive Council secures contracts with responsible employers who will hire NH workers
- Work to change the State Bid process so that Companies wishing to do business with the State Of New Hampshire, have to state the percentage of New Hampshire workers they will employ, and the benefits that they will provide them, should they receive the contract
The responsibilities of the Executive Council include making crucial decisions that affect all of the citizens of NH. The issues are complex and require common sense and an ability to understand the long-term impact of its decisions.
The issues we face are New Hampshire issues not political ones and I plan on working with state leadership in moving a Pro-NH agenda forward. Agenda items coming before the Council are leaning more toward technology, such as technology issues within the Department of Safety, Medicaid management, and new technologies for our first line of defense, Police and Fire departments.
I believe my more than two decades of working in the technology sector and more than a decade of technology experience with law enforcement gives me the practical experience to make the best decisions for upgrading NH’s technological systems. My professional experiences provide me with the ability to evaluate the expertise of the individuals coming before the Executive Council
This includes :
· Appointments of Judges
· Appointments to the Executive Branch
· Appointments of Commissioners
· Appointments of Department Heads
· Appointments of Citizen members of Boards and Commissions
I will ensure that they put the needs of NH residents first, not those of special interests. I want the citizens of District 4, my prospective employers, to know that running for Executive Councilor is the most important job interview of my career. I feel that my varied life experiences are a great fit for the position I seek.
However, it is the voters, who will determine whether my life experiences and passion for a better New Hampshire qualify me to represent them in Concord.
